Kim's Debut Album
Kim's new album Torch and Debauch was released on 19th May at a party held at Dress Circle in London.
Guests included her MD, Warren Wills, the other Dynamos from Mamma Mia! (Lara Mulcahy & Vivien Parry) and Robin Cousins. One of Kim's very good friends, Bianca Effemey, provided the catering (up to her usual very high standard), but unfortunately, she was unable to attend the party.
Charity Cabaret Evening for Momentum
The charity cabaret which Kim performed on 10th April 2005 in aid of Momentum, a children's cancer charity, was a great success. It raised £5500 in total, with the best part of £2000 being raised during the auction.
All 120 tickets were sold within days of being printed and the hall was filled to capacity on the night.
Kim and her MD, Warren Wills, performed twice, once after the meal, and again after the auction. The first half was songs from shows that have been in the West End, and the second was songs from shows which are currently running or about to open.
The review on the Momentum website enthuses about the performance and refers to the "obvious and responsive rapport" between Kim and Warren. It also praises "Kim's patter and wit (very cleverly underscored by Warren)", and calls it "a truly slick and professional act".
